Spain attempt to break through again with a clever move as the ball is chipped to Torres who attempts to play Morata through with a header, but it is sent out for a corner.
Nothing comes of the set piece as the Navigators can comfortably clear. A late goal from Ricardo Horta cancelled out Alvaro Morata’s opener to salvage a point for Portugal in their opening game of this year’s Nations League. The Navigators are now set to face Switzerland on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Spain take on group leaders Czech Republic. He completely dominated the midfield, despite coming up against some of the most experienced players in the game such as Joao Moutinho.
Gavi was the catalyst for Morata’s opening goal as he carried the ball through the middle before setting a brilliant pass to Sarabia, who assisted the striker. He will certainly be one to watch during this competition.
