Manchester United need to improve their strike force for the next campaign and a young forward is linked with a move to Old Trafford.

According to The Mail, the Red Devils have been offered the chance to sign the Dutch striker, who excelled for Ajax on loan from RB Leipzig last term.

The renowned British news source have mentioned that Leipzig are ready to agree a fee of £17million to sell Brobbey to Manchester United.

Last season, the 20-year-old center forward made 9 appearances in the German Bundesliga but failed to score even a single goal for the Red Bull Arena outfit.

In the second half of the campaign, he was loaned out to the Dutch champions. The youngster started just 4 games in the Eredivisie (11 appearances) and directly contributed in 8 goals (7 goals and 1 assist).

Veteran Edinson Cavani has already left Manchester United after the expiry of his contract this summer, on the other hand, legend, Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is up in the air as well.

Ronaldo scored 24 goals in all competitions last term and the Old Trafford outfit heavily relied on his goals to rescue them last season but they cannot rely on him for the long term.

Man City and Liverpool have sorted their future by signing Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez this summer.

Man United also need a young and quality striker who can serve the club in the years to come but Brobbey has not proved his worth at the top level as yet.
