For a team like Barcelona who have a rich football history, the Catalan giants won their first European competition in 1992, something which still surprises a lot of football fans. The La Liga heavyweights then went on to add four more to take the tally to five in the last two decades.
Barcelona won their last Champions League title in 2015 and since then they failed to make it to the finals even though the Catalan giants start the season as favourites.
