Watch: Marcus Rashford Goal | Manchester United 2-0 Crystal Palace

Sancho and Rashford have switched quite a lot this half, which shouldn’t be discouraged as that unpredictability can be beneficial to an attack. He’s not been as prominent as in previous games but is looking likely on the ball. Rashford has not been as threatening so far.

United’s patient play has been apparent. Fernandes got the ball earlier and last season would have hit an inswinger but instead kept the ball moving. It is early days and still exhibition matches but the players have adapted well to Ten Hag’s demands and United seem to have an identity already.

A confident Martial continues to shine as he bags his third goal of pre-season with a brilliant finish from Dalot’s pass. A dominant and slick display from Ten Hag’s side in the opening 45 minutes.

Maguire is playing well and might be winning over the crowd. His effort on goal ther was a fair way wide but from certain angles will have looked close. There were spontaneous cheers when the fans realised the identity of the shooter and the boos seem to have dissipated without anyone knowing.

Malacia has been on corner duty on the right side and his delivers have been really fast and go deep into the box, difficult for keepers to deal with. May not be long before we see him grab an assist from one.

Maguire picks the ball up on the edge of the box and shoots on the turn, with his effort going just over. The crowd give him ecstatic cheers in response for the effort as he puts in a good display despite the boos.
