Watch: Karim Benzema Scores | Rayo Vallecano 0-1 Real Madrid

The Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick makes four changes to his starting lineup for the clash with Watford at Old Trafford. The changes from Wednesday’s 1-1 Champions League draw at Atlético Madrid see Anthony Elanga, who has scored in each of the last two games, Nemanja Matic, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Alex Telles come in as Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw drop to the bench.

Watford boss Roy Hodgson’s starting team showed one change from the 4-1 defeat by Crystal Palace, Jeremy Ngakia replacing the injured Kiko Femenia. Jeffrey Schlupp slots home for Patrick Vieira’s men after some fine work to create the chance by Michael Olise.

Elanga has definitely been one of the positives of the first half for United, showing why he’s deserved this start after the week he’s had. He’s injected energy into the attack every time he’s got on the ball and looks to be playing with an ever growing confidence, demanding the ball and drifting infield to get involved in play.

There was plenty of promise from United in the early stages of this match, but they’ve struggled to break Watford down. This isn’t anything new – they can often struggle with low block sides.

Watford have limited United the last 10 or 15 minutes but they have been one of the worst sides at Old Trafford this season. City would have ground them into dust by now. Then again, City always do that to Watford.
