Prior to joining Levante in 2019, the 24-year-old defender had previously played for a number of different Spanish clubs. Roco was born in Córdoba and began her career in her home Andalusia.
Began her career with Sevilla B before joining crosstown rivals Real Betis in 2013. Roco then moved on to Atletico Madrid and was a member of Las Rojiblancas from 2014 to 2017, when she won a league and a cup trophy. Rocío rejoined Betis from 2017-19.
Roco is a center defender who will aid Las Blancas’ backline by providing depth while competing with Babett Peter and Claudia Florentino for the starting spot alongside captain Ivana Andrés.

Real Madrid C.F. announced the signing of Rocío Gálvez today. Rocío signed from Levante where she has been playing since 2019. The signing was first reported on May 11 by Marca’s David Menayo.
Roco has represented Spain’s youth national teams on several occasions. She has represented the U-17s, U-19s, and U-20s. Roco has also been capped by the complete Spanish National Team, appearing in two games for them.
