Manchester United made it three wins on the bounce on Thursday night.
Erik ten Hag’s reign got off to the worst possible start with back-to-back defeats against Brighton and Brentford, but since that humiliating 4-0 loss away at Brentford the Red Devils have looked a totally different team.
Manchester United went on to record a shock 2-1 victory over rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford before producing a professional performance away at Southampton, registering a 1-0 win while keeping their first clean sheet of the campaign.
And Manchester United’s travelling supporters were treated to a similar performance against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Jadon Sancho scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half as Man Utd climbed to fifth in the Premier League table.

Had Christian Eriksen’s shot found the back of the net, we’d be talking about one of the goals of the season.
But take nothing away from United’s exquisite passing move which surely delighted Ten Hag.
