Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos chose Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi in his latest Champions League XI.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been on a sensational run in the Champions League, having lifted the famous trophy five times, four with Real Madrid and once with United. Messi has won the trophy four times during his incredible time at Barcelona.
Although Carlos has never played alongside Ronaldo, he has been quick to include the Portuguese great ahead of Messi in his best Champions League XI choice. Speaking to Sport Bible, the Brazilian explained his choice.
