Manchester United received a significant boost when both first-team stars returned to training.
On Monday, the pair were photographed at Carrington ahead of the club’s Premier League match against Newcastle on Saturday.
The 24-year-old recently underwent groyne surgery, but pledged to return to the field ahead of schedule and joined his teammates on the training pitch.
The 28-year-old left back damaged his ankle in pre-season and hasn’t played since, but he appears to be on the mend.

However, the club stated that it is “to be seen” whether the pair will be fit to face the Magpies this weekend at Old Trafford.
McTominay, in particular, is expected to start as one of United’s central midfield double pivots, while Telles, although being behind Luke Shaw in the pecking order, has provided much-needed cover and competition.

Goalkeeper Dean Henderson and backup defender Teden Mengi made their comebacks, along with South American combo Fred and Edinson Cavani.
The Red Devils are hoping that £73 million summer addition Jadon Sancho will recover from a slight injury sustained while on England’s international duties.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is still quarantining after arriving from Portugal, although he might make his second appearance for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
