Bayern Munich Superstar Keen On Manchester United Move

The Bayern Munich center back is interested in joining Manchester United this summer, but there is no hint that the Red Devils are interested in signing him.

He is presently without a club after being released by Bayern Munich at the end of the previous season. His departure marked the end of an extraordinary decade in Bavaria. During that time, he won nine Bundesliga championships, two Champions Leagues, and a slew of other domestic trophies.

In his last season, he was a regular, making 39 appearances across all competitions. However, that was not enough to win him a new contract, and he was replaced by RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano.

Since then, there has been a lot of interest in Boateng, but he has yet to find his next club. Despite spending a season at Manchester City 11 years ago, he is dreaming of a move to United, according to Calciomercato (via the Daily Star).

Although Boateng is eager to relocate, the feeling isn’t mutual. United have already completed the acquisition of Raphael Varane this summer and have strong depth at center-back with Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, and Axel Tuanzebe. If necessary, Scott McTominay can also play the position.

Fortunately for Boateng, numerous other teams are interested. Juventus, Milan, Napoli, Lazio, and Roma are all interested in moving to Italy. He is known to enjoy playing in the Champions League. As a result, Juve and Milan stand the best chance of reaching an agreement.

Sevilla, who finished fourth in La Liga, is also a contender. With star center-back Jules Kounde garnering significant interest from Chelsea, they might be in need of defensive reinforcements shortly. The Blues have been keeping a close eye on Kounde for the past two years and appear to be nearing a deal.
