Arsenal have reportedly made an enquiry to sign the Argentine attacker currently a free agent after leaving Juventus last week after his contract expired.
According to La Repubblica via GIFN, Arsenal are one of a handful of clubs tor each out to the 28-year-old forward over a potential deal, with the likes of AC Milan, Manchester United and Napoli also making contact with Dybala’s representatives.
The former Juventus star is one of the most in-demand free agents this summer after Dybala failed to reach new terms with the Serie A giants over a new contract, with the Argentine now free to choose whoever he wants to sign with this summer, with Arsenal seemingly in the mix.
One of the best attackers in Europe, Dybala was a £23 million acquisition by Juventus in 2015. Over the course of almost seven years, the forward has led the Turin-based super club to five Serie A championships and the 2017 UEFA Champions League final.
Dybala, who has been compared to Lionel Messi by former Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini, would be a standout acquisition for many of Europe’s elite teams, with Arsenal reportedly keen to bring the striker to north London.
Indeed, the Gunners are looking at signing an extra attacker this summer following the pending arrival of Gabriel Jesus, however, Dybala could be a luxury Arsenal can’t afford to have given what Mikel Arteta’s side are looking for in the transfer market.
